Northern Lights Chase by Minibus

For this tour, you will be picked up from Tromsø city centre and brought to the best location for Aurora viewing, away from the light pollution and cloud coverage. Once we find clear skies, our guide will make a campfire which will serve as our outdoor basecamp for the evening, or until we decide to move on. At our outdoor basecamp, we will serve Turmat, along with coffee/tea/cocao to keep you warm and fed while we wait for the Northern Lights to occur. A professional guide will stay with you for the entire evening while making sure you are as comfortable and warm as possible. If you are lucky and the Northern Lights start flickering above in the sky, the guide can take portrait photos, which will be sent to you after the tour.

Our guides are highly trained professionals with extensive knowledge of the Aurora Borealis. Of course, we can’t offer any guarantees since the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon. Still, we promise to use all our experience to maximize our chances of a successful chase.

Return: past midnight

Duration: 6-8 hours

Minimum: 2 people

Maximum: 15 people

Children: Children 4-11 years half price. Ages of children must always be provided in the booking.
