Hiking På Hillesøy

Join us on a small hike to see this unique area, taking either the easy path to the viewpoint at the peak and enjoying the breathtaking view of Senja the second largest island of Norway all the way, or - on request- challenge yourself climbing the rope-assisted trails on the the steeper side of the hill. From the top of the hill you’ll see Håja, the island with its special shape, which provided inspiration for the most famous landmark of Tromsø, the Arctic Cathedral as well as the thriving fishing village of Sommarøy. Grab a sandwich or take amazing photographs before heading back – but always keep an eye out for the sea eagles that you might spot!
