Snowshoeing at Breivikeidet_Groups
The tour starts in Tromsø with a 50-minutes' drive out to our camp in Breivikeidet – our location for the day. A professional and experienced guide will show you how to use the snowshoes and here the journey begins! You will learn how to walk through snow-covered terrain and get the chance to admire the stunning views surrounding you – a glimpse to the captivating Arctic scenery and wildlife thriving in the area. If you didn’t bring warm clothing, you can borrow everything you need from us, such as a polar insulated suit, boots, hats and mittens. The activity is suitable for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities and is a great way to start your morning in the North.
In addition, the camp is a starting point of a lot of other activities as well, so you will get the chance to meet our friendly Alaskan huskies. They enjoy meeting new people, so you don’t have to be afraid to cuddle and play with them. After the tour you will board a comfortable bus back to Tromsø city.
