Enjoy an airy experience in beautiful natural surroundings. We promise you a tickle in your stomach and a magnificent view of the monumental Romsdalsfjellene mountains!

Romsdalsstigen Via Ferrata consists of two adventurous climbing trails: the Intro wall and the West wall, and both of them are tailored with steel wires and iron steps. With the right equipment, you can challenge yourself by climbing up the rock wall without being a mountaineer.

We highly recommend everyone to go along with one of our highly skilled via-Ferrata guides. Still, if you have previous climbing experience, you can also borrow equipment from Norsk Tindesenter and go on your own. What you need is a helmet, climbing harness and approved securing line with carabiners. While climbing upwards along the steel wires bolted to the mountain, you must be attached to the wire with an approved securing line during the whole trip. Planks and steps have been mounted in areas where natural foothold is lacking. We promise you a mountain trip you will never forget in the dramatic and exceptional valley Romsdalen!

Whether you pick the short or the long route, fully or partly up the mountain, you will be rewarded with magnificent views. The return trip from the West wall passes the tailored path Romsdalstrappa, with a break at the popular viewpoint platform Rampestreken.
