You want to be a real fisherman? There is no summer vacation in northern Norway without a fishing trip on the arctic sea.
Not many people can say they have been fishing in the North of the Arctic Circle. On this ultimate fishing trip, you will head out to the Barents Sea in our high-speed RIB`s alongside experienced and professional fishermen. You are now on one of the last stops before the North Pole. This area has an abundance of bird life and sea mammals such as sea-eagles, porpoises, seals, and seabirds. When it comes to fishing, we can guarantee a catch as with the guidance of professionals you will learn how to capture fish in the sea. Coalfish, cod and haddock are common catches in the Barents Sea and from July there is also a good chance of catching giant halibut. The midnight sun is up from May til July ensuring beautiful sights when out in the sea.
Fishing is the way of life for a lot of people in Norway and also a free time activity for even more, both summer or winter. So, if you are in any doubt, Barents Sea fishing is a major part of your arctic summer adventure!
