The Tromsø Essentials. From Sky and Sea to the Wilderness.
Two Nights and Three Activities. Northern Lights Chase. Whale and Wildlife Safari. Dog Sledding. A package if you like to get the essence of arctic exploration.
This is three major, arctic experiences packed into two amazing days.
Activity 1. The first night you will go to chase the Northern Lights. Exciting in itself, and if you succeed, you will have the opportunity to get the perfect photo, a fairytale for life!
Activity 2. A fjord-safari looking for the whales and wildlife of the Tromsø waters. Be on your toes and keep observing the surroundings. You might see the sea eagles hovering or some seals playing. Our main target is to get to the spot where we find the humpback whales diving and the killer whales passing.
Activity 3. The wilderness. We start with a bus-drive to Camp Tamok, The Gateway to Wilderness and will experience the most classical Arctic activity: Dog Sledding.
The Nights. The accommodation Scandic Ishavshotellet has one of the best locations in Tromsø, down by the sea overlooking the harbor and the fjord.
